Responsibilities: Provide Internal Medicine/Family Practice Services to patients. Interview, examine, and treat clinical patients. Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention, and early detection. Provide referrals based on examination and patient needs. Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs. Assist in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations. Complete medical records (EMR) documentation daily. Cover night calls as needed. Qualifications: MD or DO degree. Current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s) and board eligibility or board certification. DEA license required. For Carelon Health business unit, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
