Job Description Summary
The MA is responsible for a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks to assist our clinical providers. The MA provides support in delivering excellent patient service, clinical support, and front office duties and promotes health and wellness. The MA ensures the clinic runs efficiently by managing the flow of patient services, monitoring resources, and works collaboratively with the clinic providers.How will you make an impact & Requirements
Position Qualifications/Essential Functions:
Job Duties:
Continues performing job duties of MA I and II
Exhibits an exemplary and positive attitude with patients and team members
Leads the implementation of Sprints within own Care Center and may lead with regional Vera Care Center launches, also may travel to other Vera Care Centers to help with training of new Vera team members
Leads follow-up on compliance follow-up with Incident Reports
Organizes the monthly/quarterly care center audits
Drives outreach efforts for performance and incentive metrics
Co-manages (center-based) staffing schedules and coverage
Participates in Vera Committees (RISE, Vera Whole Health, Employee Engagement, etc.)
Leads Compliance Audits
Approves and submits Quality Control Logs
Develops additional personal skills (skills certifications, leadership course, etc.)
Facilitates Medical Assistant Meetings
Sees when clinical workflows are broken, identifies root-causes, helps implement solutions
Helps manage patient concerns (as assigned)
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
In the state of WA Licensed Medical Assistant Certification required, AAMA (preferred)
Phlebotomy certified within 90 days of hire.
Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
3-years’ experience minimum. Preferred in primary/urgent care preferred
Proficient in execution of Level I, Level II, and Level III Job Duties

Physical Demands:
Includes full range of body motion including the potential of handling and lifting patients, must be able to perform physical exams with medical instrumentation.
Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires standing, walking and sitting for extended periods of time.
Occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Employee Health Requirements:
Care Center
Documentation of Hep B vaccination or proof of immunity (titer).
Documentation of proof of a negative TB test in the last 12 months before start-date.
We require CPR certification (BLS) pre-hire and ongoing
Documentation of annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations in compliance with company policy
Compensation: $22.00/hr. – 33.00/hr. and bonus eligible
