Job Title: Back End Engineer (89847)
Job Description: Responsible for integrating new trackers, building and maintaining a platform to reward
users for living a healthy lifestyle. Collaborate with cross functional teams and perform
data analysis, provide development support for existing systems, and troubleshoot data
and/or system issues, which includes contributing to our existing microservices, building
new services out, designing and developing the Application Programming Integrations (API)
ingested in the front-end. Collaborate with other engineers on the team, data scientists,
designers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Design, develop and maintain new
Java services and participate in the whole application lifecycle which includes, early
meetings, design, development, test strategy, deployment to production, observability, and
support.

Special Requirements: Must have at least 6 months of prior work experience in each of the following:
1. Program languages such as Java / Python.
2. Working with Web Frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring cloud, Angular / Node.js,
Javascript etc.
3. Build and design microservices, RESTful APIs to ingest in the frontend, write well-
tested, scalable, highly available, and maintainable code.
4. Git, code review, testing, maintainability, etc.
5. Machine learning framework PyTorch and TensorFlow, implementing machine learning
algorithms for image recognition models training, fetch data for analysis and
visualization using Tableau.
**Telecommuting allowed for this position**
